KF Flood Relief Efforts

Kohatians Foundation has started its relief activities for the affectees of recent floodings in Pakistan. Our President, Ikram Ghani has already spoken to Dr Mahmood Noor (a respected medic and Finance Secretary KF) and we are going to start a relief camp by Thursday in areas around Noshera, one of the worst affected area. The plan is to have a medical facility, with distribution of drinking water. We plan to have this camp for a week. This may be extended further if required and if we have the resources. Dr Mahmood Noor is putting together a team of doctors.

We can use volunteers and donations. Please remember, this will be a relief camp with focus on medical facilities and provision of drinking water. Availability of drinking water is identified as the main issue. Please donate generously and volunteer for the camp, even if possible for a few hours. Flood KP
We have contacted some other organisations to join hands in the relief efforts.We have spoken to World Health Organisation for provision of medicines and related supplies etc. We have also spoken to the General Manager of Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan and asked them to give us a mobile unit which can be used for medicines provision.
